Tagua Blue Lentil Necklace

Tagua is a native palm in Ecuador, a member of the coconut family. The seeds mature in 10 to 30 years, fall to the ground, are harvested, and the process of transformation begins. Their hard consistency requires multiple efforts before they can be used. They are separated, since they come in clusters of two or three, dried, and peeled of their heavy covering, until the beautiful ivory colored flesh appears.
